6th Graders!
I’ve noticed that my 2006 – 2007 class of 5th graders (from last year) has been on this blog ALOT! I’m very proud of all of you and hope that you continue to strive to be the best you can be! Let us know all about 6th grade: what you like about it, what challenges you may have had transitioning from 5th grade to 6th, and any suggestions for my new 5th grade class! Please know that I miss all of you very much and hope you will come back and visit sometime soon!

it is kristen just saying hi!
i am in comuter app and it is friday so that means it is free day!
i was just going to talk and leave some suggestions to your 5th graders about 6th grade and 5th grade!
1. Always be on time for class, a minute late is ok but no later!
2. Go to your locker the times that you are supposed to because if you go some other time you WILL be late
3 Dont get into the gossip that goes around, if you saty out you will be glad!!!!!! That includes the boys too! hehe
4. If somone tells you something that you think is wrong just say something like ” well i am going to ask them if that is true first” or something like that.
5. Rember your bell schdule(it comes in handy), teachers have a sign that says all the times. What i did was write them down.
6. Always turn in your homwork on time. Thanks to mrs D i havent frogetton my homwrk in 2 months. So start practincing that in 5th grade. ( Mrs. D will also like you to)
7. Be responsible ( you can also practice that in 5th grade)
8. Dont be afarid to ask for help. The teachers are really nice to you and treat you with respect if you treat them with respect.
9. BE READING 24/7 it will help you trust me i would know!!
10. Have fun!!!! the most important one of all and enjoy 5th grade while you can because it flys by. So does 6th grade!!
ps. mrs d make sure to write a reply and let your kids see this cause i think it is good but lauren( my sister) is in that buliding now in mrs allens class . Cause i might have her bring you a note saying i might come to vist. Maybe in the late winter early spring cause there is a day where we dont have school 2 days in a row and one of them i might be able to drop by sometime in the day and talk with your students and help them with there work and stuff or maybe get some more practice and do the work my self jkjk but keep in touch kk?

WOW! Kristen, I think you have certainly learned a lot! I would LOVE to have you come in, especially toward the end of the year and talk to my students about what it’s like to be in 6th grade and what responsibilites you have! I am glad that I helped prepare you, yet know you did most of the work BEING ORGANIZED on your own! The best of luck to you! It’s great to hear from you! I miss you too! Keep in touch!

Yea i would love to come in and talk to your class!!! Send me a date and i reply!! hint hint i am leaving school early 1 day in febuary cause i am going to the doctors once i find out what date that is i will tell you and maybe i could stop in then

You are the best teacher i have ever had. You have tought me a lot.I thought 5th grade was going to be easy.I cant wait till we have glens falls penpals:).=]. i cant wait till we have way more fubn in the middle of aschool.you are the best so are the other 3 teachers
